NANCY LEE WILLIS
Haysi, VA- Nancy Lee Willis, age 73 of Lazarus Branch, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. Born in Denver Colorado, she was a daughter of the late Johnny and Beth Lee Taylor Mitchell. She was last employed at Haysi Clinic, Dickenson Clinic and Dr. Senters office in Clintwood. She was a member of Lakota Organization. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Willis and a brother, Jay Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband, Robert N. Willis, a son, Jess (Candilyn Forton) Willis and a daughter, Nanette (James) Sykes both of Haysi, a sister, Theresa Cavanagh of Denver, Colorado and a brother, Gerard Mitchell of San Francisco, California, grandchildren, Samantha Sykes, Justin Sykes and Jaxton Willis all of Haysi and Kelcie Willis of Roanoke, great-grandchildren, Jadyn and Braylen Sykes and Axl Deel all of Haysi and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Rebecca Willis Chapel with Noah Kim Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Rebecca Willis Cemetery. Nephews and cousins will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. on Monday prior to funeral service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rebecca Willis Chapel and cemetery.
