Obituary for Connie Suzette Yates

CONNIE SUZETTE YATES
Birchleaf, VA- Connie Suzette Yates, age 46 of Rocklick Road, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Dickenson Community Medical Center in Clintwood, VA. Born in New Jersey, she was a daughter of Lonnie and Linda Sue Owens Yates. She was last employed as a waitress. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Andrew Owens, paternal grandparents, Arthur Yates and Anna Lee Burnette and aunts Vicky Yates and Debbie Dotson.
In addition to her parents, survivors include a son, Morgan Yates of Cove Creek, Arizona, her grandmother, Delores Owens of Lick Creek, VA, four brothers, Chuck Yates of Cove Creek, Arizona, Ronnie Yates of Dahlonega, Georgia, Brandon Yates of Baskersville, Virginia and Robbie Yates of Birchleaf, VA, two sisters, Jasmine Yates and Abigail Yates both of Birchleaf, VA, two uncles, Andy (Katie) Owens of Greenville, NC and Henry (Stella) Yates of Alexandria, VA, two aunts, Karen (Tim) Lyall and Bessie (Scotty) Edwards both of Haysi and 8 nieces and nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Lick Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com Haysi Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
