MORGANIA DEEL
Haysi, VA- Morgania Deel, age 90, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Clinch Valley Medical Center in Richlands, VA. Born in Dickenson County, she was a daughter of the late George Marion and Alice Ann Deel O’quinn. She was a homemaker and member of Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church since July 1948. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Cleamis Deel and brothers, Allen, Hayes and Ervin O’quinn.
Survivors include three daughters, Elowese (Eugene) Ratliff of Haysi, Velma Ann (Daniel) Gilliam of Fredericksburg and Mina Lucetta (David) Ezell of Maryville, TN, three sons, Windel (Thelma) Deel and Vendette (Deborah) Deel both of Haysi and Clancy (Patricia) Deel of Richlands, grandchildren, Sandra (Charlie) Vandyke, Jimmy (Beverly) Boyd, Lisa (Berry) Cole, Beverly Yates, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Deel, April Deel, Samuel (Gaylup) Deel, Vania (John) Justice, Hayli Deel and Jason Giles, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m.Friday, March 8, 2013 at Haysi Funeral Home with Elders Roger Coleman and Aven Viers officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Deel Cemetery, Haysi, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
