DANNY KEEN
Vansant, VA- Danny Keen, age 51 of Greenfields Road, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Buchanan General Hospital in Grundy, VA. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Wiley and Clarice Deel Keen. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was of the Primitive Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Jane Deel.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Keen, a daughter, Caroline Marie Keen, a grandson, Aiden Ryder Hughes, a brother, Freddy Keen of Vansant and a sister, Janice Johnson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Deel Family Cemetery, Newberry Ridge, VA. VFW Post #7360 will conduct Military Graveside Rites. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com Haysi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
