Breaks, VA – Crisey Blankenship, age 81 of Crater Road passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Mountain View Health Care, Elkhorn City, KY. Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Beverly and Louisa Coleman Blankenship. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Goldie Griffeth and Chloa Blankenship and brothers, Thomas and Junior Blankenship.
Survivors include two sisters, Geraldine (Carl) Mullins of North Carolina and Dorothy (Willard) Mullins of Waycross, GA; two brothers, Jerry (Ivel) Blankenship and Donnie Blankenship both of Breaks, VA.; sister-in-law, Dollie Blankenship of Breaks, VA and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012 at Little Jocie Old Regular Baptist Church, Breaks, VA with Larry Puckett, Rick Mullins, Toy Looney and Mark Justice officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Jocie Cemetery, Breaks, VA. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church where an evening service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.haysifuneral.com.
